# Channel Analytics

Get a full snapshot of any YouTube channel — subscribers, views, upload pace, video length, revenue estimates, and more — through natural language prompts in your AI assistant.

## Prerequisites

- **Connected AI assistant** — Claude, ChatGPT, or any other supported platform
- **Active NexLev account** — [Connect to your AI assistant](/docs/mcp/quickstart) to get started. [Upgrade to Pro](?required_nexlev_lite_pro_access=true) for higher quota limits.

> Use the [Channel Resolver](/docs/mcp/channel-resolver) to get a valid `UC…`
> channel ID from any YouTube URL or handle.

## Basic Usage

## What it Returns

**Metrics returned per channel:**

- Total views, avg monthly views, avg views per video
- Subscriber count, total videos, days since start
- Avg monthly uploads, avg video length, last upload date
- Has Shorts, content categories, country
- RPM, monthly revenue, total revenue estimates
- Outlier score, monetization status

## Troubleshooting

- **Tool not responding** — Check your NexLev account is active and the MCP connection is complete (see [Quickstart](/docs/mcp/quickstart)). If you've hit your daily quota, [Upgrade to Pro](?required_nexlev_lite_pro_access=true) for higher limits.
- **Incorrect channel ID** — Channel IDs always start with `UC` and are 24 characters. Use the [Channel Resolver](/docs/mcp/channel-resolver) if needed.
- **Missing metrics** — New channels may take 24–48 hours to be fully indexed. Private or deleted channels won't return data.
